General Terms and Conditions from Terminsräkningsföreningen

1. Quick information about your bill

1.1 Through Terminsräkningsföreningen (TRF), you pay your membership fee for your student union and/or nation. The bylaws of each individual union and nation should provide information on whether you are qualified to become a member.

1.2 The fee in not obligatory. If you so desire, you are free to disregard any bills from TRF.

1.3 Before you pay a bill from TRF, make sure to check that all the preprinted information is accurate. If any piece of information is incorrect, contact your student union or nation. Alternatively, you can update the information yourself by visiting studentlund.se/medlem.

1.4 When paying via Bankgirot, Plusgirot, Swish or through your internet bank, make sure to always include the OCR number or reference number.

1.5 If you are taking many courses or programs, submit your payment to the student union connected to your primary field of studies.

1.6 Upon leaving Lund University, you no longer need to pay your Studentlund bill. You do not have to inform anyone that you have ceased your studies, and you should disregard any bills sent to you by TRF

1.7 A paid member fee will not be refunded.

1.8 Member fees cannot be paid retroactively for previous semesters.

2. Signing up through the Internet

2.1 New students have the opportunity to sign up for a membership through the Internet (www.studentlund.se). Only those who have been admitted to studies approved by Terminräkningsföreningen (TRF) (Lund University, Copenhagen Business School, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, Högskolan Kristianstad, Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole, Copenhagen University, Malmö University, Roskilde University, Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet, Trafikflyghögskolan at LU) during the first or second round of acceptance are allowed to register.

2.2 The membership is finalized when the student has been formally admitted to studies approved by TRF and has provided proof of this by visiting a nation or by contacting a student union.

2.3 If a person is not formally admitted to studies approved by TRF or has failed to provide proof of acceptence during a visit to a nation or student union by November 30th during the fall semester or by May 31th during the spring semester, the paid fee will accrue to TRF.

3. GDPR and integrity

3.1 Terminsräkningsföreningen (TRF) processes your personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the policies decided by TRF general meeting. The requested personal data is necessary in order for TRF to be able to administer the membership, semester bill, student card etc.

3.2 Terminsräkningsföreningen (TRF), registration number 845003-1813, processes information such as personal numbers, names, adress information, phone numbers as well as payment information.

3.3 TRF is the personal data controller.

3.4 Processing is done by TRF and its member organisations for regulatory business, provision of services, administration, billing, customer service, development, information, marketing, as well as the fullfilment of obligations related to law, contracts or decisions made by public athorities.

3.5 Information about members may be shared with companies with whom TRF is cooperating, or public authorities. This information may be sent either in print or electronically.

3.6 You have the right to inform TRF that you do not wish to receive any dispatches from any of the companies TRF are in cooperation with. This can be done by writing to TRF or any of TRF's member organizations. Please note that this right does not apply retroactively. If no such wish can be deducted, your payment is considered an agreement that your information may be handled as described above.

4. The cooperation with Studentkortet

4.1 Terminsräkningsföreningen (TRF) is cooperating with Studentkortet regarding student ID cards.

4.2 By paying your Studentlund bill, you agree to Studentkortet’s terms and conditions (www.studentkortet.se/allmanna-villkor/).

4.3 Upon paying your Studentlund bill, you are registered as an active student by Studentkortet. You will receive information about various student offers.

4.4 If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact Studentkortet (support.studentkortet.se/hc/sv).

5. Updates

TRF updates this policy according to TRF's bylaws. Changes will be in effect immeditately after decision by the organization general meeting.
